Square41 (square41.com) is a careers platform connecting professionals with job and internship opportunities across international affairs, development, and the public sector. These General Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Square41 website and its content by all visitors and users.

By accessing or using Square41, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

You may use Square41 for lawful purposes only. When using this platform, you agree not to:

• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce any content from Square41 in bulk without our prior written consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its servers, or any connected systems.

Listings on Square41 come from two sources:

• Publicly sourced listings — jobs found by Square41 on publicly available channels (employer websites, job boards, etc.) and manually published on the platform by our team.
• Employer-submitted listings — jobs posted directly by organisations or employers through the Square41 platform.

In both cases, we do not endorse, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legitimacy of any listing. In particular:

• Publicly sourced listings are entered manually by our team and may contain errors — for example, an organisation type, location, or deadline may be incorrectly recorded. We correct mistakes as soon as they are brought to our attention.
• We do not guarantee that any position is still open at the time of viewing.
• We are not party to any employment relationship or application process between a job seeker and an employer.
• We do not guarantee employment outcomes for any user.
• Listing details (salary, location, deadlines, requirements, etc.) may change without notice.

If you spot an error, believe a listing is fraudulent, or think it should be removed, please contact us at contact@square41.com and we will address it promptly.

All content on Square41 — including the design, layout, logos, text, graphics, and code — is the property of Square41 or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and print content from the platform for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

Employers who submit job listings retain ownership of their content but grant Square41 a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content on the platform.

Square41 contains links to external websites, including employer career pages and job application portals. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

The inclusion of a link does not imply any endorsement by Square41 of the linked site or its operator.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Square41 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the platform, including but not limited to:

• Loss of employment opportunity or failure to secure a position.
• Reliance on inaccurate or outdated job listing information.
• Interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the platform.
• Any action taken or not taken based on content found on the platform.

We aim to keep Square41 available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend or withdraw all or part of the platform without notice for operational, technical, or business reasons.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the Terms were last changed. Continued use of Square41 after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
